i got to be like realli careful when i typing cus if one accidental swipe of my hand would mean my dad kills me when he comes home...cus he is like transfering stuff from his notebook tht he started off 2 hours ago so with 15 minutes left on tht timer....i shall try my best not to screw it up....his dumb laptop is blocking my view of the right side of my screen thou...saw li sen going to cell...haha....so ciao one....

went to acjc openhouse today....rawkkkks! i m sure cheryl would agree....our party of 4 was cut down to 2...one preoccupied with tuition and the other....just fell sick...i tink julie missed out on alot la...it would have been nice for her to look at the art display...it was nice even thou one portrait had like many chickens in it....den i talked to the art teacher....i bet he had tht weird impression when i asked him bout the art stuff...cus i said i had a fren hu was sick n cant come but wants to take art and i m asking for her...he sort of shot me tht sceptical look before he went on....haha....but i wasnt lying...come on man...nic tan take art...thts like so un-nictanish...

den i went around the place....had a school tour...saw seniors and many classmates....all swarming the place....guess openhouse on weekends is much better...much more ppl...but den i dunno wad cca to take....i have been like the sort of can play some stuff but absolutely average in everything sort of person....so realli dunno....i can play soccer, bowling, swim but not exceptional in anything....qing yuan asked me to do hockey....but i dun even noe how to hold the darn stick....hahahah....i guess i ll probably end up in the chrisitan ministry...not tht its some last resort....thts the 1st place i ll go for a cca....just like to do a sport for once....

ok i got like 2 goodie bags....wanted to come at the end of the day to get the spares cus i mean like if i take so many...all the poor ppl hu made an effort to come wont get anything....so i just took booklets and 2 goodie bags....not like there were tht many goodies inside....i m sure we dun come for just the freebies right...ok so for sam lee and his fren, check! john, check!, julie, check! ok...i didnt miss anyone out....so like jared came too we took a tour den we went to see the cca stuff....den jared left so cheryl and i went to see the subject combi and was quite useful....den cheryl left and the scouts came....so i tagged with them for awhile before i went with my cousin....taking her to the mrt station....went tiong bahru plaza after tht....yey...i returned myself 20 bucks...hahaha....n ate KFC den came home and had a nap...

heh...sometimes its weird...life is weird...u noe its like some times....ppl like us set our hearts so much on something we probably fail to realise tht there may be something better, tailormade standing in front of our eyes....sometimes....its gets ppl like me realli confused...end up not noeing to choose this or tht....haha...i dunno whether its bout going the distance....or just depending on God for the height....haha....oh well...nic tan....u should just study....

today....thow said 'if God wills u to be a slacker...u will be a slacker' i feel its utter rubbish...life is not bout so sara sara...wadever will be will be....i mean like...when God made the heavens and the earth....he said 'it was good' , its shows tht God always wants the good out us, next, in the old testament he raised many great man who were competent and led the people, they were man of action....they werent NATO ppl...Joseph, Daniel, David, Moses, Joshua were all ppl of excellence people who God greatly blessed...God seeks for excellence and excellence through hard work...for us to be in places of power so we can bless others, amen? and lastly...proverbs tell us like lots of times not to be idle and lazi...stop sitting in the tht couch man....stand up...do something for ur purpose, for ur future, for God today...cus ur purpose, ur rheuma, is constantly seeking and looking out for u, r u going to cease it?

one nice example is Gideon....the story kinda entered my mind yesterday and has kinda sticked there for 2 days....

first, he made a sacrifice
1) commiting wad we do in the hands of the Lord, investing we have in the Lord, because he will never shortchange us

Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established.
-Proverbs 16:3-

den he went to cut down the idols tht his family had worshipped
2) speaks of moving all the distractions in your life not commiting wad u do, but yourself to the Lord

verse 35-40 speaks of the signs which God showed Gideon tht he would indeed deliver israel
3) our purpose will be made known to us at the right time and place by the Holy Spirit

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
-Romans 8:28-

next came the selection and cutting of numbers from thousands to just three hundred and also the fact tht Gideon came from the smallest tribe in the country
4) nothing is too much or too little for God, he can take a little and make it much

God gave Gideon specific instructions, Gideon followed and conquered the camp with just 300 hundred men
5) with faith and through our actions, God can move through us!

yup...sort of wad i got from judges 6 and 7 .... see God promised Gideon he would deliver his enemies into his hands but Gideon didnt stop there, he didnt just pop the champagne and celebrate or sit back and start watching saturday night live....he walked in faith, in action and God used him in a great way....in a way he never imagined! see...God moves when you move!
